All prints are printed and dispatched by us from Dundee, Scotland. Please allow 2–3 working days for us to print and prepare your order before it’s dispatched.
We offer free shipping on all UK orders over £30. Orders under £30 are subject to a standard shipping charge, shown at checkout. Most UK orders arrive within 2–5 working days of dispatch.
We ship internationally – delivery costs and timescales are calculated at checkout depending on your location. Please be aware that customers outside the UK are responsible for any import duties or customs charges levied by their country.
Some of our prints are made to order and may take a little longer to prepare. We’ll always let you know the expected timescale on the product page or by email after you place your order.
Once your print has been despatched you will receive an e-mail with a tracking number or details of your parcel. Please check this first (the e-mail might be in your junk folder).
If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe, please get in touch at hello@carolmcewan.scot and we’ll look into it straight away.
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’ll always do our best to put it right.
If you’ve ordered online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. This is your legal right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Once you’ve notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item. We’ll issue a full refund (including original standard delivery costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
For change-of-mind returns, return postage is the customer’s responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service, as we can’t be responsible for items lost in transit. If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the cost of return postage in full.
If your print arrives damaged, faulty, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 30 days of receiving it. We’ll arrange a full refund, replacement, or exchange — whichever you prefer. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by this policy.
Personalised and made-to-order prints are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless they arrive faulty or not as described. Please check your order carefully before placing it. If there’s any problem with your personalised print, we’ll always put it right.
We’re happy to exchange a print for a different one. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange this. Return postage for exchanges is the customer’s responsibility unless the item was faulty or incorrect.
If you purchased a print from us in person, the 14-day online cancellation right does not apply. However, you are still fully entitled to a refund or replacement if an item is faulty or not as described, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The 14-day cancellation right applies to consumer purchases only. Business-to-business sales are subject to our standard terms and conditions.

Yes, some of our prints are available as made-to-order pieces. Please note that personalised prints cannot be returned simply because you’ve changed your mind, so do take care when placing your order. If there’s a fault or error on our part, we’ll always put it right.
